The Real Housewives of Potomac<\/a>\u00a0mom addressed a potential move roughly seven months after\u00a0finalizing her divorce<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Michael Darby<\/a>. Ashley said her current four-bedroom, five-bathroom house has everything she ever wanted in a home, but she\u2019s now considering a change of scenery.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest, the house that I have now really does check all the boxes,\u201d she told\u00a0The Daily Dish. \u201cI have great neighbors. They\u2019re my little neighborhood watch. They all know I\u2019m a single mom, so they\u2019re always looking at my house\u2026 They\u2019re always checking out for me, which I\u2019ve always wanted to have. And then in terms of the home itself, it has everything I could ever want or need, you know? Open concept. Ample bedrooms for my children. And I got my glam space. So, it really has everything I could want.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashley Darby isn’t sure if she’s found her forever home<\/p>\n

Ashley said the home also has sentimental value, as it was the first property she ever bought for herself. The mother of two\u00a0moved into the Arlington house in October 2022<\/a>, just six months after announcing\u00a0her split from Michael<\/a>. She said the purchase felt like a major \u201caccomplishment\u201d that she has never taken for granted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel so blessed to have it\u2026 But over these last couple of weeks, I\u2019ve really been thinking, like, is there a place that\u2019s more suited for me?\u201d she pondered. \u201cIt\u2019s the first time I\u2019ve ever lived by myself. So I\u2019m 37, and I bought my house at 34. The first time I\u2019d ever lived alone. I always had a roommate, or my family, or Michael. So that was a big thing.”<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cAnd I have my kids, obviously, my little roommates. So it\u2019s all just really started to settle in that, yes, this was my first house, but it doesn\u2019t necessarily have to be my permanent house.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashley Darby knows a second marriage will affect her living situation\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ashley lives in the home with\u00a0her 6-year-old son, Dean, and 4-year-old son, Dylan<\/a>, whom she shares with Michael. Since splitting with her ex-husband, Ashley\u00a0has re-entered the dating scene<\/a>\u00a0with the intention of walking down the aisle again. She said a potential second marriage is something else she has to consider before making a home move.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s that gonna look like? When I merge lives with somebody… when I get married again,\u201d she said. \u201cYou know, am I gonna build a new house with someone? Are they gonna move in with me? I don\u2019t know\u2026 It\u2019s been on my mind heavily lately.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashley Darby may buy a home outside the Potomac area<\/p>\n

Although she\u2019s pretty content in her current home, Ashley revealed she would like to live closer to the water and would potentially get a vacation house.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been spending a bit of time in Florida lately,\u201d she said, \u201cso, I\u2019m like maybe this is where I want to be, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n
