Detroit radio personality Thomas Carballo, better known as Mojo in the Morning, has weighed in on the recent rumours <\/a>about Eminem and his longtime stylist, Katrina Malota. According to Mojo, there is no romance, only a long-standing professional relationship. <\/p>\n

Mojo Says It\u2019s Strictly Professional<\/p>\n

On his show<\/a>, Mojo addressed the speculation directly. He confirmed that Malota has worked with Eminem for years and is one of the most trusted members of his team.<\/p>\n

\u201cKatrina works for Eminem. She\u2019s worked for Marshall for a very long time\u201d, Mojo said. \u201cShe\u2019s been probably one of his most trusted people who\u2019s ever been around him\u201d.<\/p>\n

TMZ recently suggested that Eminem and Malota might be romantically involved. However, Mojo believes the outlet simply misread the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt could be just TMZ seeing the video and saying, \u2018Who is that person?\u2019 and doing a little Googling\u201d, he said. \u201cOr it could be someone on the inside who doesn\u2019t like Katrina or Eminem and wants to cause trouble. Because [Eminem] doesn\u2019t like rumours\u201d.<\/p>\n

A Reputation for Privacy and Professionalism<\/p>\n

Mojo, who is also one of Malota\u2019s clients and calls her a personal friend, praised her professionalism and discretion.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe never talks to me about that guy. She\u2019s so damn professional\u201d, he said. \u201cYou look at that video and think they\u2019re dating? I don\u2019t get it\u201d.<\/p>\n

He added that she has accompanied Eminem to events for years as part of her job, not because of any personal relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking at that situation and I wonder there the rumour like that came into play. You look at her on that video and think that they are dating? I don\u2019t get it\u201d, he adds.<\/p>\n

Still, the rumours show how eager fans are for any personal detail about Eminem. Yet, as Mojo pointed out, such speculation only makes Marshall more protective of his private life.<\/p>\n
