{"id":133678,"date":"2025-10-20T10:18:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T10:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/133678\/"},"modified":"2025-10-20T10:18:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T10:18:08","slug":"jurgen-klopp-says-liverpool-return-theoretically-possible-in-a-few-years-liverpool-fc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/133678\/","title":{"rendered":"Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool return &#8220;theoretically possible&#8221; in a few years &#8211; Liverpool FC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a data-ail=\"328970\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/jurgen-klopp\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jurgen Klopp<\/a> has said \u201ctheoretically it\u2019s possible\u201d he could return to Liverpool, but he currently isn\u2019t missing the job.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon leaving Liverpool, Klopp <a data-mil=\"328970\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/2024\/01\/jurgen-klopp-declares-he-will-never-manage-a-different-club-in-england\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a> that he would definitely \u201cnever, ever manage a different club in England than Liverpool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He is still sticking to that and despite insisting he isn\u2019t interested in becoming a manager again any time soon, the German has left the door slightly ajar to a return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said I will never coach a different team in England again, that means if it\u2019s Liverpool, yeah. Theoretically it\u2019s possible,\u201d Klopp told <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/UMy6GESNkDc?si=hJk3K6fVZ0VbF6dp&amp;t=6906\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Diary of a CEO<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n<p>Asked what it would take for him to return, the current Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull said: \u201cI don\u2019t know exactly. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love what I do right now. I don\u2019t miss coaching, I don\u2019t.  I do coach now but just different, not players, and I don\u2019t miss it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t miss standing in the rain, two-and-a-half, three hours. I don\u2019t miss going to press conferences three times a week, having 10 or 12 interviews a week. From other perspective, from the other side, it\u2019s not that old. That means I could make the decision in a few years. I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo I have to make the decision today? I will not coach again, but thank God I don\u2019t have to do that. (Photo by David Rawcliffe\/Propaganda)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"lazy lazy-hidden alignnone size-medium wp-image-303917\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Klopp has consistently said he left Liverpool because he was running out of energy and couldn\u2019t give the job 100 percent. <\/p>\n<p>His reasons remained the same in this most recent interview and he doesn\u2019t appear to be yearning a return to managerial life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes people, Virgil\u2019s (Van Dijk) laugh in my ear for example,\u201d Klopp said when asked what he misses about the job.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo I miss it in general with football players? <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot right now, it\u2019s not like that, but then there is not a lot to be honest which I miss because I\u2019m still in the business I know most about. So the football part I don\u2019t miss because I have it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd the other thing is I don\u2019t have to be outside. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not the guy in the chair before a game and stuff like this. Honestly, that\u2019s the best example.
