Jurgen Klopp<\/a> has said \u201ctheoretically it\u2019s possible\u201d he could return to Liverpool, but he currently isn\u2019t missing the job.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon leaving Liverpool, Klopp said<\/a> that he would definitely \u201cnever, ever manage a different club in England than Liverpool.\u201d<\/p>\n

He is still sticking to that and despite insisting he isn\u2019t interested in becoming a manager again any time soon, the German has left the door slightly ajar to a return.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said I will never coach a different team in England again, that means if it\u2019s Liverpool, yeah. Theoretically it\u2019s possible,\u201d Klopp told The Diary of a CEO<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

Asked what it would take for him to return, the current Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull said: \u201cI don\u2019t know exactly. <\/p>\n

\u201cI love what I do right now. I don\u2019t miss coaching, I don\u2019t. I do coach now but just different, not players, and I don\u2019t miss it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t miss standing in the rain, two-and-a-half, three hours. I don\u2019t miss going to press conferences three times a week, having 10 or 12 interviews a week. I don\u2019t miss that, I don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t miss being in the dressing room, like in the sense that I didn\u2019t have it often enough. <\/p>\n

\u201cI coached 1,080 something games so I was in a dressing room very, very often, and I don\u2019t want to die in a dressing room just because it\u2019s so nice \u2013 it smells!<\/p>\n

\"LIVERPOOL,<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there might be something. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m 58, that\u2019s from your perspective old. From other perspective, from the other side, it\u2019s not that old. That means I could make the decision in a few years. I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo I have to make the decision today? I will not coach again, but thank God I don\u2019t have to do that. I can just see what the future brings.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut now I\u2019m involved in a project I really love, and I love the people I\u2019m working together with and the clubs we are responsible for and the countries the clubs are in.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I like doing what I\u2019m doing right now and in my mind, only if I\u2019m focused 100 percent, I can do it really good and that\u2019s what I always want to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

What does Jurgen Klopp miss about managing Liverpool?<\/p>\n

Klopp has consistently said he left Liverpool because he was running out of energy and couldn\u2019t give the job 100 percent. <\/p>\n

His reasons remained the same in this most recent interview and he doesn\u2019t appear to be yearning a return to managerial life.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes people, Virgil\u2019s (Van Dijk) laugh in my ear for example,\u201d Klopp said when asked what he misses about the job.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo I miss it in general with football players? <\/p>\n

\u201cNot right now, it\u2019s not like that, but then there is not a lot to be honest which I miss because I\u2019m still in the business I know most about. So the football part I don\u2019t miss because I have it.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the other thing is I don\u2019t have to be outside. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not the guy in the chair before a game and stuff like this. Honestly, that\u2019s the best example. I don\u2019t miss anything, that\u2019s how it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on the former boss\u2019 words, Liverpool supporters shouldn\u2019t be expecting him to return but it is interesting that he refused to rule it out all together. <\/p>\n
