The film adapts the \u201cReze\u201d arc of Tatsuki Fujimoto\u2019s hit manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara with a screenplay by Hiroshi Seko, the movie follows Denji as his encounter with caf\u00e9 worker Reze leads to a clash between intimate connection and bloody chaos. Voice cast includes Reina Ueda, Fairouz Ai, Tomori Kusunoki, and Maaya Uchida. Sony\/Crunchyroll are handling distribution in the market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSouth Korean film \u201cBoss\u201d remained in second place with $806,745, lifting its total to $15.3 million after 17 days in theaters. Directed by Ra Hee-chan, the action-comedy stars Jo Woo-jin as Soon-tae, Jung Kyung-ho as Kang-pyo, Park Ji-hwan as Pan-ho and Lee Kyu-hyung as Tae-gyu. The film, which debuted at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/busan-international-film-festival\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Busan International Film Festival<\/a>, centers on gang underlings who, oddly, compete to avoid becoming the boss while pursuing personal ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>New entry \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/jujutsu-kaisen\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jujutsu-kaisen\" data-tag=\"jujutsu-kaisen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jujutsu Kaisen<\/a>: Hidden Inventory \/ Premature Death \u2013 The Movie\u201d opened at No. 3 with $644,696 (89,684 admissions) from 742 screens. Based on Gege Akutami\u2019s manga, the film follows Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru, two sorcerers tasked with protecting Amanai Riko, a student chosen as the Star Plasma Vessel, while being pursued by curse users and a religious cult.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPark Chan-wook\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/no-other-choice\/\" id=\"auto-tag_no-other-choice\" data-tag=\"no-other-choice\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">No Other Choice<\/a>\u201d ranked fourth with $556,055 for a running total of $19.1 million. Lee Byung-hun plays Man-su, a laid-off paper manufacturing specialist who resorts to serial murder to eliminate his competitors for a single job opening, only to discover the position exists to supervise AI testing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cOne Battle After Another\u201d placed fifth with $388,865 (cume $3.3 million).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tJapanese hit \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/demon-slayer\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Demon Slayer<\/a>: Kimetsu no Yaiba \u2013 The Movie: Infinity Castle\u201d earned $307,164, pushing its local total to $41.5 million. New arrival \u201cWeapons\u201d opened in seventh with $252,186.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAnimation \u201cBread Barbershop: The Bakerytown Baddies\u201d added $97,270 (cume $1.6 million), and \u201cYour Letter,\u201d another animation title, followed with $106,561 (cume $1.3 million).
