The telecoms giant has kicked off an October sale by including Netflix free with select fibre broadband packages<\/a> that cost up to \u00a31 per day.<\/p>\n The deal is available on a choice of two plans offering average speeds from 500Mbps to a whopping 1,130 Mbps. Anyone securing these plans can save \u00a3143.76 over the life of the 24-month contract<\/a> compared to the cost of subscribing to Netflix directly at \u00a35.99 per month.<\/p>\n What\u2019s more, Virgin has slashed the price of its fastest broadband plans to their \u2018lowest price\u2019 ever, with shoppers now able to bag 1,130 Mbps speeds for \u00a329.99<\/a> \u2013 equal to roughly \u00a31 per day. However, the firm has not confirmed an end date for these deals.<\/p>\n Virgin has also slashed the price of its cheaper plans, with prices now starting at \u00a323.99 for 132Mbps<\/a>. However, there\u2019s no Netflix subscription included with this option.<\/p>\n To avoid any double bills, customers with an existing Netflix subscription who use the same email address when joining Virgin will have their existing subscription paused. However, one downside with Virgin\u2019s plans is that, like most providers, it will raise its prices each year, with customers set to see their bills increase by \u00a34 every April.<\/p>\n This means those on its \u00a329.99 plan will pay \u00a333.99 from April 2026 and \u00a337.99 from April 2027. Virgin\u2019s deals beat Sky<\/a>\u2019s own broadband prices, with its 900Mbps Full Fibre Broadband plan coming in at \u00a340 per month \u2013 slower and more expensive than Virgin\u2019s comparable plan.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Hyperoptic<\/a> will give customers up to \u00a3300 when joining its broadband service, but this isn\u2019t available nationwide so it\u2019s worth checking availability on its website. For those sticking with Virgin<\/a>, the provider has racked up thousands of positive reviews on Trustpilot.<\/p>\n One happy customer said: \u201cI\u2019ve used Virgin before and always preferred their internet speed and left for various reasons. So when I moved house I wanted to re-join them and needed to join on a specific day and got a call on the day I asked for a call. Got an install date a couple of days later and the engineer was the most friendliest, helpful guy ever.\u201d<\/p>\n Another shared: \u201cI\u2019ve been with Virgin since 2018. My internet and TV almost never go down, and if they do it\u2019s always fixed within a couple of hours. I\u2019ve renegotiated my contract several times and always got a deal I was happy with. I get the speeds and services as advertised, and although you\u2019ll never get the introductory price again, I\u2019m staying with them for the value of having exceptional service in every way.\u201d<\/p>\n This customer left a more mixed three-star review, saying: \u201cThe customer service wasn\u2019t always the best but generally speeds were good in the years I used them, and stable. The customer service did improve over the years but as did the price.\u201d<\/p>\n While this five-star review reads: \u201cI\u2019ve had the best service from Virgin. I contacted them on Thursday, received my equipment Friday. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
