\n\tMarvel<\/a> fans love a crossover and rumors on social media about Daredevil<\/a> swinging by the Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> universe have intensified.<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, in a new interview Charlie Cox<\/a> has addressed the rumors circulating about a possible cameo in the Tom Holland<\/a> film, and it\u2019s not great news.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWell, I don\u2019t read anything, so I don\u2019t know [what fans are saying online],\u201d Cox said on the Phase Hero<\/a> podcast. \u201cI know that they all think I\u2019m in Spider-Man because I\u2019m filming something in London, which I\u2019m not. I\u2019m not in Spider-Man\u2026I\u2019m just concentrating on DD right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite Cox ruling out appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, rumors will continue as Marvel stars have been known to downplay their involvement as they are sworn to secrecy to maintain the element of surprise.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Daredevil\u2019s cameo is not confirmed, it has been reported that Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role of The Hulk<\/a> in Brand New Day. Jon Bernthal\u2019s The Punisher will also make an appearance alongside Holland<\/a> in the new Spider-Man film.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpider-Man: Brand New Day started filming in Scotland in August<\/a> with Holland marking the occassion saying, \u201cI feel good, man. It\u2019s day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man. You know, it\u2019s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It\u2019s also the first time we\u2019ve ever had fans on set for day one, so it\u2019s really exciting to share this with them. We\u2019ve got some familiar faces on set. I\u2019m just gonna do my best, hopefully get it right. No pressure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFilming for the movie was halted for a week in September after Holland suffered a concussion<\/a> on the set. <\/p>\n

\n\tSpider-Man: Brand New Day is set to swing back into theaters on July 31, 2026.
