\n\tMaking music that even your exes listen to? That\u2019s just the life of a showgirl. In an interview with Esquire<\/a> published Monday (Oct. 20), Joe Jonas<\/a> shared his take on Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2018s new album a few weeks after its release.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile speaking to the publication with brothers Nick and Kevin, the DNCE frontman didn\u2019t hem and haw when asked for his take on The Life of a Showgirl. \u201cI\u2019ve heard some of it,\u201d he began. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think she\u2019s obviously the biggest artist out there, and I think it\u2019s good,\u201d he continued of Swift, whom he dated briefly in 2008. \u201cEverybody\u2019s got an opinion about it, but from what I\u2019ve heard, there are some catchy melodies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReleased on Oct. 5, the album is indeed catchy. The set\u2019s 12 tracks occupied the top 12 spots on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> in their first week on the chart, while Showgirl locked in a historic debut atop the Billboard 200<\/a> with more than 4 million units<\/a> moved.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have 4 million thank you\u2019s I want to send to the fans, and 4 million reasons to feel even more proud of this album than I already was,\u201d Swift reacted in a post at the time. \u201cI\u2019ll cherish this feeling forever. Just wow.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd while it\u2019s been decades since the Jonas Brothers star dated the Eras Tour headliner, he\u2019s used to answering questions about her. In 2023, for instance, Joe opened up<\/a> about where he stood with Swift on Dax Shepard\u2019s Armchair Expert podcast.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m cool with Taylor,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cWe\u2019re cool \u2026 I hope to think [her fans] like me \u2026 No one f\u2014s with the Swifties, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n
