\n\tNew price hikes have come to HBO<\/a> Max.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Warner Bros. Discovery streaming service said Tuesday that it is raising prices across all of its plan, with the ad-supported base tier rising by $1 per month to $10.99, the standard plan rising by $1.50 per month to $18.49, and the premium plan rising by $2 per month to $22.99.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnnual plans will rise by $10, $15 and $20 accordingly.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe price increases go into effect immediately, with existing subscribers getting 30 days notice before the prices go up at or after Nov. 20.<\/p>\n

\n\tHBO Max<\/a> joins most of its other streaming competitors in raising prices in the last few months. Dsney hiked the prices<\/a> of its Disney+ plans and bundles this month, with NBCUniversal\u2019s Peacock raising its subscription price<\/a> substantially in August ahead of the NBA season. Apple also raised the price<\/a> of Apple TV by 30% in August. Netflix raised its prices<\/a> early this year.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe streaming price hikes come as the market deals with saturation, and with every player in the space now pursuing profitability rather than scale. Many of the companies have sought to deliver value through bundling options rather than cheap monthly prices, with HBO Max and Disney+ operating what seems to be a successful bundle, and Peacock and Apple TV launching one last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n
