A 48-year-old man has pleaded guilty at Doire an Fh\u00e9ich District Court, Conamara, Co Galway, to making an online threat to kill or cause serious harm to T\u00e1naiste Simon Harris and his family in August of last year.<\/p>\n
Patrick Grealish, with an address at Garra\u00ed An Choirce in Leitir Meall\u00e1in, was remanded on continuing bail to appear in court again on 16 December.<\/p>\n
The matter was put back to allow for a probation report and a victim impact statement.<\/p>\n
In August 2024, the Conamara man was arrested and charged at a garda station in the northwest region, with making a threat to Mr Harris, intending for him to believe it would be carried out, to kill or cause him and his family serious harm.<\/p>\n
The court previously heard that under Grealish’s bail conditions, he must stay off all social media and the internet and surrender all travel documentation.<\/p>\n
