Arne Slot<\/a> was due to speak to the media on the eve of Liverpool\u2019s Champions League<\/a> meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt, but his press conference has been cancelled.<\/b><\/p>\n

Liverpool\u2019s head coach was scheduled to face questions from members of the English and German press at 6.30pm (BST) on Tuesday night to preview the Reds\u2019 third European match of the season.<\/p>\n

Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a> was expected to join the head coach, but the club have since announced that the press conference has been cancelled.<\/p>\n

In an update on the club\u2019s website<\/a>, Liverpool explained that a delay to the team\u2019s flight to Frankfurt, due to technical issues with the aircraft, meant it would not be able to take place. <\/p>\n

The Athletic\u2019s James Pearce reported<\/a> that the squad was still in Liverpool less than 15 minutes before the press conference in Frankfurt was scheduled to start, underlining the lengthy delay.<\/p>\n

An insight into potential rotation and changes to his XI was also anticipated after the Reds succumbed to their fourth successive defeat across all competitions. <\/p>\n

Liverpool trained at the AXA Training Centre earlier on Tuesday<\/a> afternoon, with 22 players put through their paces.<\/p>\n

Wataru Endo<\/a> was involved in the session after missing Sunday\u2019s game due to a hamstring issue, his presence will be welcomed in the absence of Gravenberch. <\/p>\n
