Joe Jonas has shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n
The Jonas Brothers star has praised Taylor’s 12th studio album, which was released on 3 October.<\/p>\n
“I’ve heard some of it,” Joe told Esquire during a recent interview. “I think she’s obviously the biggest artist out there.”<\/p>\n
The Waffle House hitmaker went on to acknowledge that “everybody’s got an opinion” on the record.<\/p>\n
“I think it’s good,” he told the publication of the album. “Everybody’s got an opinion about it, but from what I’ve heard, there are some catchy melodies.”<\/p>\n
Joe, 36, and Taylor, 35, dated briefly before splitting in 2008. Following their breakup, fans speculated that several of Taylor’s songs were inspired by their short-lived romance, including Mr. Perfectly Fine, Better Than Revenge, and Forever and Always.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on The Ellen Show shortly after the split, Taylor famously claimed that Joe had ended their relationship in a 25-second phone call.<\/p>\n
“It’s like, when I find that person that is is right for me and he’ll be wonderful and when I look at that person I’m not even going to be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18,” she said at the time.<\/p>\n
The Bad Blood hitmaker later became close friends with Joe’s now ex-wife, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. The former couple divorced in 2024 after four years of marriage.<\/p>\n
