However, learning from them may help you with your own finances.<\/p>\n Here are seven ways that these and other \u201cShark Tank\u201d stars pinch pennies to preserve their wealth<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mark Cuban Won\u2019t Spend Money on Fancy Watches<\/p>\n When Cuban sold his first company, he told E! News he vowed never to wear a watch again. The former Dallas Mavericks owner says that for him, not wearing a watch represents freedom.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I sold my first company when I was 29, the only watch I ever owned was one my dad gave to me. I took it off and I put it aside and I said, \u2018Now that I\u2019ve sold my company, I never have to work on anybody\u2019s else\u2019s time, so I\u2019m never going to wear a watch again,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n That\u2019s a big contrast with Cuban\u2019s fellow Shark, O\u2019Leary, who is known to love buying expensive watches. His costars sometimes rib O\u2019Leary about this buying habit. \u201cIf he tells me about one more watch I think I\u2019m going to shoot him,\u201d said Barbara Corcoran in a video for Us Weekly.<\/p>\n Todd Graves Doesn\u2019t Fly on Private Planes<\/p>\n Graves told E! News he can\u2019t stomach the cost of taking private flights, at least when he\u2019s traveling internationally. \u201cFor those dollars, I\u2019ll just get on a regular plane,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Barbara Corcoran Doesn\u2019t Fly First Class<\/p>\n Savvy investor Corcoran is even more frugal than Graves, at least when it comes to flights.
