RT\u00c9 presenter Doireann Garrihy has welcomed her first child.<\/p>\n

In April, Garrihy announced she was expecting her first child with husband Mark Mehigan.<\/p>\n

In a post on Instagram, she confirmed the birth of their first baby, a girl named Rosie.<\/p>\n

“Our baby, Rosie. A love like this we\u2019ve never known,\u201d Garrihy wrote in a post alongside a picture of her, Mehigan and the new arrival together in hospital.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of people shared their congratulations with the couple, including Una Healy who wrote: \u201cCongratulations to you both and welcome to the world baby Rosie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carl Mullan, who Garrihy used to host 2FM\u2019s breakfast show alongside, wrote: \u201cWelcome to the world Rosie. Massive congrats to you both. Go on Mam ya superstar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former Today FM presenter Dermot Whelan said: \u201cCongratulations!! Remember to keep your strength up, try to eat and don\u2019t take too many visitors. You\u2019ve been through so much physically and emotionally. You too Doireann.\u201d<\/p>\n

Presenter Arthur Gourounlian, a judge on Dancing with the Stars, a show Garrihy co-hosts, wrote: \u201cOMG, this is absolutely stunning. Hello Rosie, welcome to the world. I can\u2019t wait to meet you\u201d<\/p>\n
