The ceremony will also be livestreamed globally. The newer challengers \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/food\/restaurants\/review\/2025\/03\/13\/first-look-lena-is-the-perfect-restaurant-the-best-fish-dish-i-have-eaten-in-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/food\/restaurants\/review\/2025\/03\/13\/first-look-lena-is-the-perfect-restaurant-the-best-fish-dish-i-have-eaten-in-years\/\">Lena<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/food\/restaurants\/review\/2025\/07\/17\/comet-restaurant-review-irelands-next-michelin-star-in-the-making-off-dawson-street\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/food\/restaurants\/review\/2025\/07\/17\/comet-restaurant-review-irelands-next-michelin-star-in-the-making-off-dawson-street\/\">Comet<\/a> \u2013 may well be poised to make their first splash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall b-it-article-body__text--left\">Outside Dublin, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/park-hotel-kenmare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/park-hotel-kenmare\/\">Park\u202fHotel\u202fKenmare<\/a> in Co Kerry under Bryan and Tara Meehan already holds two Michelin Keys for its hotel offering and is undergoing a significant expansion. The owners may well be holding off on chasing a Michelin star for their Landline restaurant, adorned with Se\u00e1n Scully paintings, until after this upgrade is complete.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall b-it-article-body__text--left\">In a more general sense, hosting the Michelin ceremony in Ireland is symbolic, speaking of recognition and rising ambitions. But hosting isn\u2019t the same as winning. The kitchens still need to deliver. Between now and next February, a few questions are sure to keep buzzing around the Irish restaurant scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall b-it-article-body__text--left\">Will Chapter One finally get its third star? <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall b-it-article-body__text--left\"> Given its pedigree this is internationally accepted as overdue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall b-it-article-body__text--left\">Will Liath and Dede join the three-star club? It would be a big ask, but the talk is loud.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">And will there be any surprise entries?
