In her announcement post, she shared that she\u2019s never been \u201cso proud\u201d or \u201cexcited\u201d about a project in her career.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQHn5E7Dwh7\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The new album is due to come out on January 16, 2026, and features production contributions from her longtime collaborators One Love, LOSTBOY, and Leroy Clampitt.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the upcoming record, Beer said in a press release: \u201cAfter writing the album it feels like each song lives within this metaphorical locket for safekeeping. Each album feels like an era and once the albums are out in the world the chapter for me, usually with what I wrote about, is closed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This comes after she released her track \u2018bittersweet\u2019 earlier this month.\u00a0In a new music video for \u2018bittersweet\u2019, Beer explores the themes of love and heartbreak and depicts a breakup with her on-screen partner, who is played by Sean Kaufman of \u2018The Summer I Turned Pretty\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the video for \u2018bittersweet\u2019 below.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Beer performed \u2018bittersweet\u2019 live for the first time as part of her set at the 2025 Victoria\u2019s Secret fashion show. She also sang hits like \u2018Make You Mine\u2019 and \u2018Yes Baby\u2019. Also performing were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/missy-elliott\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Missy Elliott and<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/karol-g\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Karol G,<\/a> and it marked just the second time in Victoria Secret\u2019s Fashion Show\u2019s long history that the fashion show featured an all-women performance line-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madison Beer\u2019s Victoria\u2019s Secret 2025 setlist was:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018Make You Mine\u2019<\/strong><br \/><strong>\u2018Bittersweet\u2019<\/strong><br \/><strong>\u2018Yes Baby\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last year, Madison Beer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/madison-beer-interview-chapelle-roan-dance-pop-era-3793425\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">spoke to NME <\/a>about how \u201cthere is a lot of guilt put on you\u201d when turning down opportunities she\u2019s not comfortable with. She said: \u201cPeople are like, \u2018Oh, someone else is going to take your place\u2019, and like, it\u2019s not a competition. Someone else can take my place. I\u2019m always going to be me,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I think that that\u2019s been something that\u2019s really helped my mental health because I don\u2019t look at it as a competition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked about where she sees herself in this current wave of pop music, the singer said that she is satisfied with taking things at her own pace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI obviously hope to always grow and I hope my concerts always get bigger, but I\u2019m OK with being more of the tortoise. It makes me proud,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I feel like I have a really core, real fanbase that grows with me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, she also admitted that she doesn\u2019t know if she could \u201cdeal with\u201d that level of popularity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe amount of stuff that goes on when you are Number One \u2013 whatever that even means \u2013 is quite intense and I\u2019m pretty happy with where I\u2019m at.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NME awarded Beer\u2019s 2023 album,\u00a0\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/album\/madison-beer-silence-between-songs-3497933\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Silence Between Songs<\/a>\u2018, three stars in a review. It commended track \u2018Home To Another One\u2019, and praises it for its distinct sound.
