When we think about the iconic Back to the Future film, names that immediately come to mind are Michael J. Fox<\/strong>, Christopher Lloyd,<\/strong> and Lea Thompson<\/strong>. Over the past several decades, there have been countless cast reunions and appearances\u2014but one name is almost always left out: Crispin Glover<\/strong>, 61 who played George McFly.<\/p>\n

The actor earned a bit of a reputation on set for his unconventional style, which, as Fox said, caused some \u201ctension\u201d during filming.<\/p>\n

\u201cI loved working with him. His talent was unquestionable, although his methods sometimes created friction,\u201d Fox wrote in his new co-written memoir <\/a>Future Boy: Back to the Future and My Journey Through the Space-Time Continuum.<\/p>\n

Thomas F. Wilson<\/strong> who played villain Biff in the franchise even alluded to Glover\u2019s \u201cstrange\u201d behavior in his viral stand-up routine, jokingly calling him \u201cunusual.\u201d<\/p>\n

And by all accounts, both descriptions are fair. Following his commercial success, Glover has built an eclectic career spanning genres and decades. His latest project, a film he directed and shot on classic 35 mm film titled No! You\u2019re Wrong or Spooky at a Distance, stars both his recently deceased father, Bruce Glover<\/strong>, and himself. The silent, avant-garde film has become the centerpiece of his latest promotional tour.<\/p>\n

Fans attending his recent appearances<\/a> have noted how little he\u2019s aged since his George McFly days.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis guy is such an underrated actor and musician,\u201d one fan wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes I forget he\u2019s a real human being and not a figment of my imagination,\u201d added another.<\/p>\n

Each event features<\/a>Crispin Hellion Glover\u2019s Big Slide Show demonstration, a dramatic reading of several of the artist\u2019s self-published books, and is followed by a screening of his new film. After his Chicago event on October 23, Glover will continue touring across the U.S. and Canada through December 12.<\/p>\n
