C\u00fa Mara, Keelwest, Dooagh, Achill Island \u2013 in his 91st year, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday 23rd October 2025.<\/p>\n
Predeceased by his beloved son Se\u00e1n, parents Anthony and Catherine, twin brother Pat and sister N\u00f3ra.<\/p>\n
He will be dearly and lovingly missed by his wife Mary, sons Eoin and Brian, grandchildren Se\u00e1n, Cathal and Keila, sister Mary Teresa, daughters-in-law Catherine and Claudia, sisters-in-law Teresa, Maura and Anne, brother-in-law John Stephen, nieces, nephews and all his extended family, neighbours and many good friends.<\/p>\n

John will repose at Lavelle\u2019s Funeral Home, Cashel, Achill (F28 Y0H9) on Saturday, 25th October from 4.30pm until 7pm.<\/p>\n
Removal from his residence on Sunday morning to St. Patricks Church, Pollagh for Requiem Mass 11.30.<\/p>\n
Burial afterwards in Slievemore cemetery.<\/p>\n
