Fabrizio Romano has now revealed what he has been hearing about the future of one first-team Manchester United star under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> chalked up his first back-to-back wins in the Premier League as manager of Manchester United<\/a> last weekend after a stunning result at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Liverpool hosted fierce rivals United<\/a> for a huge Premier League clash at home and the Red Devils walked away with the ultimate bragging rights after their 2-1 win.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> netted early in the first half for United at Anfield last Sunday before Cody Gakpo<\/a> produced a second-half equaliser for defending champions Liverpool.<\/p>\n

However, Harry Maguire<\/a> ensured United\u2019s Premier League victory over Liverpool<\/a> after he scored a superb close-range header to cancel out Cody Gakpo\u2019s effort.<\/p>\n

Joshua Zirkzee<\/a> has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford<\/a> under Manchester United manager<\/a> Ruben Amorim and his future has been plunged into serious doubt.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old Dutch forward failed to impress in his debut season at United after his 2024 move from Bologna and has been starved of first-team<\/a> minutes this season.<\/p>\n

Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with a United exit<\/a> in recent weeks, with the striker reduced to only four appearances across all competitions in the 2025-26 campaign.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano<\/a> has now ruled out that out-of-favour United star Zirkzee has directly asked the Red Devils to leave the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then, guys, I wanted to mention something also on the situation of Manchester United because today we had rumours coming from England about Joshua Zirkzee asking officially the club to leave in the January transfer window,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to clarify something about that, guys, because I was talking about Zirkzee here on the channel a few days ago and then I told you, as of today, today is day 23 of October, Joshua Zirkzee hasn\u2019t asked Manchester United to leave the club.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Fabrizio Romano has been hearing about Man Utd star Joshua Zirkzee amid rumblings over an Old Trafford exit<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joshua Zirkzee struggled to consistently deliver<\/a> in the final third in the 2024-25 campaign and he only netted seven times in 49 matches across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The Netherlands striker, who is under contract with United until 2029, has been linked with the likes of West Ham, Aston Villa and AC Milan in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

Romano has explained that there still remains a \u2018serious possibility\u2019 that Zirkzee could be offloaded from Old Trafford in the 2026 January transfer window.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe agent of Joshua Zirkzee didn\u2019t go to Man United and say, \u2018Okay, let the player go,\u2019\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis didn\u2019t happen as of today. Then this might happen from now to January. It\u2019s a complete possibility.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a serious possibility, but at the moment it hasn\u2019t happened yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
