Rates averaged 6.54% during the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">So what impact does this have on your monthly mortgage payment? And what does this mean for homebuyers?<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Here\u2019s the monthly cost of purchasing a typical home today, according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/realtor.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Realtor.com\u00ae;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Realtor.com\u00ae<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/mortgage\/tools\/mortgage-calculator\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:mortgage calculator;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"> mortgage calculator<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">The typical monthly payment on a median-priced $425,000 home at today\u2019s 6.19% mortgage rate is roughly $2,078.
