Photo: Collins<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Pharmaceutical giant Johnson &amp; Johnson has appealed an award of \u20ac944K to former Limerick senior hurler Mark Keane over a 2018 workplace incident when he was injured while freeing a colleague who was trapped in a machine at their plant in Plassey, Co Limerick.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Last April, the High Court made the award to Mr Keane for injuries to his right hand, arm and shoulder. He told the court that since the injury he was &#8220;not the man he was, nor the one he hoped to become&#8221; and felt &#8220;let down&#8221; by the famed multinational bluechip company.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"High Court in Dublin.
