Miranda July\u2019s All Fours centres on the sexual reawakening of a 45-year-old perimenopausal woman, while plenty of complex relationship sex was threaded through Sally Rooney\u2019s Intermezzo. Yael van der Wouden\u2019s sex-soaked debut The Safekeep won the Women\u2019s Prize for Fiction earlier this year. \u2018Romantasy\u2019, as exemplified by Rebecca Yarros\u2019s wildly bestselling novel Fourth Wing, is thought to be a genre on the rise, thanks to BookTok.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">It seems inescapable for anyone wanting to explore meaty characters, relationships or simply the human condition.
