Deadline<\/a> reports Alicia Witt, Jolene Blalock, Skeet Ulrich, Megan Suri, Jon Heder, Pete Holmes, Natasha Leggero, Morgan Jay, Trevor Wallace, and Steph Tolev will star in The Big Kill, a \u201csatirical slasher movie\u201d paying \u201ctribute to Gen X and set to popular 1990s songs.\u201d Directed by Todd Berger from a script by Emmy-winning Daily Show writer Daniel Radosh, the story concerns \u201ca group of longtime friends and their families as they share a remote cabin following a funeral. When a killer starts hunting the group, the friends are forced to confront the darkest elements of their past.\u201d<\/p>\n Hocus Pocus 3 <\/p>\n Thora Birch stated she\u2019s \u201csuper open\u201d to reprising her role as Dani Dennison in Hocus Pocus in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/a>.<\/p>\n Yeah, I\u2019d like to know what they land on for how Dani wound up. I\u2019m super open to the idea. They love talking about this stuff, so we\u2019ll see.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Masters of the Universe <\/p>\n Elsewhere, Camila Mendes praised the script for Masters of the Universe in a recent interview with Screen Rant<\/a>.<\/p>\n I think one of the things I admire most about the film, and that I was so pleasantly surprised by when I read the script, is that it had the perfect balance of comedy and heart. It wasn\u2019t a movie that was completely making fun of itself the whole time, but it has a good sense of humor.<\/p>\n I\u2019m really, really proud of what we did. It\u2019s so hard to walk away from these movies because so much is going to be done in post that you\u2019re like, \u201cHow do I assess what we just walked away from?\u201d But I just have a feeling about this one. [Brown Daily Herald<\/a>]<\/p>\n Carrie <\/p>\n Filming has officially wrapped on Mike Flanagan\u2019s Carrie TV series.<\/p>\n Crystal Lake <\/p>\n Speaking with Screen Rant<\/a>, Crystal Lake showrunner Brad Caleb Kane revealed the Friday the 13th prequel series is set after the events of Jason\u2019s drowning death, suggesting audiences won\u2019t actually see Pamela Voorhees raising her son per ex-showrunner Bryan Fuller\u2019s original vision.<\/p>\n [The] absolutely brilliant Linda Cardellini is playing Mrs. Voorhees. I can\u2019t say whether or not Jason is actually in it. Jason might be in it. I don\u2019t know if I\u2019d want to do a Friday the 13th without a Jason in it.<\/p>\n [Jason] had another mask in earlier incarnations. He was a little boy who drowned at Crystal Lake. Maybe we\u2019ll see a little bit of that.
