Alan Wake<\/strong> will have additional company in the David Lynch<\/strong> department, thanks to Team17 and developer Wych Elm and their upcoming Metroidvania survival horror title Silver Pines<\/strong>. Taking a few cues from \u201cTwin Peaks\u201d<\/strong>, the sidescroller will arrive next year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Silver Pines concerns one Red Walker, a private investigator who finds himself in the town of Silver Pines, a place half-abandoned, half-forgotten, in the middle of nowhere. Walker\u2019s job is to track down Eddie Velvet, a musician who has vanished. As the case begins to reveal a dark past, Walker soon slips into a strange and nightmarish descent beyond his control.<\/p>\n

Steeped in atmosphere and a creeping dread, Silver Pines is a love letter to classic survival horror. Players must either fight or avoid the horrors of the town as they scavenge for resources and solutions to puzzles in order to progress.<\/p>\n

Filled with locked doors and hidden paths at every turn, each holds an uncovered clue, a resource, or something waiting in the dark.
