Starring Lakshya Lalwani, Bobby Deol, and Sahher Bambba in lead roles, the Netflix series has impressed everyone. A month after its release, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor shared his thoughts on the show, describing it as \u201cabsolute OTT gold.” His review quickly caught attention online including many accusing him of writing a \u201cpaid review” for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s son Aryan Khan\u2019s show. Well, Shashi Tharoor has now given a befitting reply to the troll who made this allegation.<\/p>\n

After Shashi Tharoor shared a positive review of the Netflix series, a social media user accused him of being paid to promote it, commenting, \u201cShashi Tharoor new side business \u2013 Paid reviews.” The Congress MP, however, wasn\u2019t one to let it slide.<\/p>\n

Responding to the troll on Monday (October 27), Tharoor firmly wrote, \u201cI\u2019m not for sale, my friend. No opinion I express has ever been paid for by anybody, in cash or in kind.”<\/p>\n

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the politician shared that he was not well for the past few days<\/a>, and then his sister, Smita Tharoor, suggested he watch the series, which left him completely impressed.<\/p>\n

He wrote, \u201cI\u2019ve had a cold and cough for two days and had to cancel engagements. My team and my sister, @smitatharoor, got me to spend some time away from the computer watching a @NetflixIndia series, and it\u2019s one of the best things I\u2019ve ever done for myself: absolute #OTT GOLD!”<\/p>\n

\u201cI just finished watching Aryan Khan\u2019s directorial debut, \u201cThe Ba***ds of Bollywood,” and I\u2019m struggling to find words of praise.
