It has been accepted by the Club and Brendan will leave his role with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">\u201cThe club appreciates Brendan\u2019s contribution to Celtic during his two very successful periods at the Club. During his previous spell at Celtic Park (2000 to 2005) the former Northern Ireland player won three Scottish Premier League titles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Rodgers returned to Celtic in 2023 for a second spell, succeeding Ange Postecoglou, and won two league titles, a Scottish League Cup and a Scottish Cup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">However, the relationship between Rodgers and Celtic\u2019s board threatened to break down over the summer after an underwhelming transfer window.
