Primavera Sound<\/a> Porto has announced a stacked line-up for 2026, including headliners The xx<\/a>, Gorillaz<\/a> and Massive Attack<\/a>. See it in full below.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese music festival will once again take place at Parque da Cidade from June 11-14 next year.<\/p>\n

IDLES<\/a>, Big Thief<\/a>, Ethel Cain<\/a>, Bad Gyal<\/a>, JADE<\/a>, KNEECAP<\/a>, Slowdive<\/a>, Dijon<\/a>, Oklou<\/a> and Amaarae<\/a> are also set to perform.<\/p>\n

The bill is completed by the likes of Sudan Archives<\/a>, fakemink, Panda Bear<\/a>, Water From Your Eyes<\/a>, Annahstasia<\/a>, Joey Valence & Brae<\/a>, Viagra Boys<\/a>, Ninajirachi<\/a>, Black Country, New Road<\/a>, Nation of Language,<\/a>\u00a0Model\/Actriz<\/a>, and more, who will all make their appearance next year.<\/p>\n

Just last month, Primavera Sound Porto\u2019s sister festival, Primavera Sound Barcelona, announced its own line-up<\/a>, with\u00a0The Cure<\/a>,\u00a0Gorillaz<\/a>,\u00a0The xx<\/a>,\u00a0Doja Cat<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Massive Attack<\/a> all set to perform.<\/p>\n

This is set to be a huge year for The xx; Romy told us at the BRITs last year<\/a> that the band had been in the studio \u201cregularly\u201d, implying new music was coming soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been in the studio since I last spoke to NME and we\u2019re in the studio again next week, so we\u2019re meeting up regularly,\u201d she told us. \u201cIt\u2019s been really good. I think we\u2019ve all spent time apart and it\u2019s healthy to miss each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cWe\u2019re just keeping it really open and we\u2019re up for trying new things, but it sounds like us. That\u2019s all I can say right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve learned a lot from our different solo projects and it\u2019s cool to learn from each other again. We grew up together and we had a lot of experiences, but to then have time apart and learn new skills, get new musical ideas and experiences and compare them\u2026 it\u2019s been a healthy break.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Massive Attack have corrected the \u201coutright lies\u201d of reports on facial recognition at their live shows<\/a>.<\/p>\n
