Giving a clean chit to Rhea Chakraborty, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) recently submitted its closure report in Sushant Singh Rajput\u2019s death case, stating that there was no evidence suggesting the actor was \u201cillegally confined, threatened, or provoked\/abetted to commit suicide\u201d by her. However, the late actor\u2019s family has challenged the findings. Now, Sushant\u2019s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has reacted to the report and spoken about Rhea\u2019s alleged role in her brother\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

On Shubhankar Mishra’s Unplugged podcast, Shweta said in Hindi, “I haven\u2019t received the answers yet, so I really don\u2019t know what her role was, okay? As much as my brother had introduced me to Rhea over the phone and told me about her, I had never directly spoken to Rhea. Sushant had told me about her and he spoke good things about her.”<\/p>\n

She continued, “But honestly, I don\u2019t know the truth. I don\u2019t know what really happened. All those texts that came out about CBD oil and mixing it in tea or a cup, I don\u2019t know. So I\u2019m not sure about that \u2014 what the role was, whose role it was, or to what extent.”<\/p>\n

For those unversed, Rhea was arrested in a drugs case related to the actor’s death.<\/p>\n

The journalist also asked SSR\u2019s sister about the hate Rhea receives online. Reacting to him being criticised for interviewing her, she said, “People never thought of Sushant as just a star or someone separate from them. He was so pure that everyone felt he was a part of them, part of their family \u2014 that sense of belonging was very strong.”<\/p>\n
