Ana de Armas has reportedly called it quits with Tom Cruise, nearly a year after the stars first sparked rumors of a May-December romance \u2014 or showmance.<\/p>\n
The \u201cBallerina\u201d star, 37, \u201cstarted to get a little uncomfortable with how fast it was going\u201d with 63-year-old Cruise, a source told Us Weekly.<\/p>\n
\u201cTom and Ana are done for now,\u201d the insider said<\/a> of de Armas\u2019 decision to \u201cput the brakes on it\u201d after she was first linked to the \u201cMission: Impossible\u201d star<\/a> in February.<\/p>\n The source suggested that not all hope is lost for the Oscar nominees, as de Armas \u201cstill likes him a lot, and they have a connection.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey want to remain friends, but she needed to take a step back,\u201d the insider said, adding that they\u2019ll \u201csee how things go in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n Speculation that Cruise and de Armas, who will co-star in Doug Liman\u2019s thriller \u201cDeeper,\u201d<\/a> had more than a working relationship began with London sightings over Valentine\u2019s Day weekend, mid-March and just before de Armas\u2019 birthday in April.
