\"'IDesigner Manish Malhotra shared on ‘Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle’ that Sanjay Leela Bhansali never worked with him, believing he was part of Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra’s circle. Malhotra also recounted an accidental text to an actress he disliked, and a similar mishap involving Priyanka Chopra that initially caused her distress but ultimately led to a strong friendship. Manish Malhotra<\/a> revealed on Two Much With Kajol<\/a> and Twinkle that Sanjay Leela Bhansali<\/a> has never worked with him in over 30 years, believing he was aligned with Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra\u2019s circle.<\/p>\n

On confronting Sanjay Leela Bhansali<\/p>\n

He said, “I think once somebody asked him that and he always thought I was very friendly with Karan Johar and Adi (Aditya Chopra), in that group kind of thing.\u201d The designer also recalled confronting Bhansali about it later, sharing, \u201cI said, ‘Sanjay, I am a professional and I can work with so many different actors.’ Yes, but sometimes some things just don’t happen, and then you just make your own path.”<\/p>\n

Accidentally texting an actress he didn\u2019t enjoy working with<\/p>\n

Manish also revealed that while working on a film, he did not enjoy working with this one actress and ended up texting that to her only. He shared, “This happened once in my life and I actually enjoyed working with her in a very hit film and we worked a lot together, we still do. But I wrote to my nephew Puneet Malhotra. I wrote to him, \u2018Last day and I going on the set, done with this film and done with her.\u2019 I sent the message by mistake to that very actress. But she was very gracious and she was very good about it. So it was all cleared.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Priyanka Chopra ended up in tears<\/p>\n

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra had recalled this incident and revealed that the actress was in tears when she saw Manish’s text. She revealed, that Karan had texted Manish and he replied to Priyanka instead of Karan. Her mother had said in an interview with Lehren Retro, “He messaged Manish, \u2018Film City aa jao. Last day hai. Isse tumko chutkara mil jayega. (Come to Film City. It\u2019s the last day. You will get rid of her)\u2019, or something like that.\u201d Madhu Chopra further recalle Manish’s response which read, “Thank god it\u2019s my last day with Priyanka.\u201dMadhu continued, \u201cWhen Priyanka got this message \u2018thank god it\u2019s my last day, chutkara mil jayega,\u2019 naturally she started crying.\u201d While PeeCee was in tears, Karan messaged Manish asking what he had done, as \u201cshe was crying on set.\u201d Manish realised that he had accidentally texted her. Madhu Chopra stated that this was a ‘big faux pax.’ Priyanka went to Manish and asked him, \u201cWhat have I done?\u201d.
