The project involves the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/renovation-architecture-and-design\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">transformation<\/a><\/strong> of an existing <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/bathroom-design\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">bathroom<\/a><\/strong> into an immersive spatial <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/interactive-installation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">installation<\/a><\/strong>, realized within a one-week construction period.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The design investigates the dual nature of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/concrete-architecture-and-design\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">concrete<\/a><\/strong> as both fluid and structural. Custom <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/prefabricated-homes-and-buildings\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">prefabricated<\/a><\/strong> concrete elements are used to explore this transitional state, capturing the moment in which the material shifts from motion to solidity. The first, Earth, is a green space where vegetation emerges through concrete modules, introducing organic contrast to the rigid material system. Mars is defined by red-toned surfaces that emphasize temperature, contrast, and intensity through chromatic treatment. Saturn features soft whites and beige hues, evoking spatial clarity and a sense of expansion through lighter material finishes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jgstudioec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">design team<\/a><\/strong> at JGStudio Arquitectura reconfigures the original bathroom to prioritize spatial perception and sensory engagement.
