Prior to that, she had already established royal connections, because she worked in the office of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester for three years.

In 2022, Archer was promoted to the role of senior private executive assistant to the Prince and Princess of Wales. Archer has been credited with playing a large part in the “Kate effect”, where clothes worn by the Princess of Wales have sparked huge numbers of sales. It is thought that she is responsible for some of her most notable outfits, including the polka dot Jenny Packham dress that Kate wore after giving birth to Prince George; Archer was one of few people to visit Kate in the Lindo Wing, and was photographed arriving with a clothes bag.

In 2017, Archer married Getty Images photographer Chris Jackson, and the pair currently share two children.

Archer worked closely with the Prince and Princess of Wales for 15 years. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen but, what is certain is that the Princess of Wales will continue to influence wardrobes everywhere – intentionally or not.

You Might Also Like

There appear to be some changes happening behind the scenes at Kensington Palace.
