\n\tEd Sheeran <\/a>and Barry Keoghan teamed up for an episode of Complex\u2019s GOAT Talk on Wednesday (Aug. 20), and when it came to their greatest rap albums lists, they aligned with some millennials\u2019 favorites.<\/p>\n

\n\tKeoghan immediately went with 50 Cent\u2019s<\/a> classic 2003 debut Get Rich or Die Tryin\u2019. \u201cI mean I love Get Rich or Die Tryin\u2019,\u201d the actor said. \u201cYou know when you have the pressure of people listening to your playlists, you\u2019re like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna throw this on because everyone gets with it.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSheeran had a laugh recalling that he listened to the album with his dad during a recent trip to Italy, where he championed 50\u2019s brilliance with tracks such as \u201cIf I Can\u2019t.\u201d \u201cI listened to that weirdly with my dad the other day,\u201d he shared. \u201cI was topless with a beer in my hand, explaining to him how great \u2018If I Can\u2019t\u2019 was because it\u2019s not a full eight-bar chorus. It\u2019s, like, six bars. I\u2019m like, \u2018This is genius.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere, Sheeran kept his choices in the Aftermath\/Shady Records\/Interscope family, going with The Game\u2019s<\/a> The Documentary, Eminem\u2019s <\/a>The Marshall Mathers LP and Dr. Dre\u2019s<\/a> 2001. \u201cI can put them on in any scenario,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs far as their favorite rappers ever go, Ed Sheeran kept it in the U.K. with Devlin,\u00a0Skepta<\/a>, Wretch 32 and\u00a0JME, while Keoghan added Storzmy<\/a> and Dave. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf you go to France and you say, \u2018Who\u2019s the best rapper?\u2019 They\u2019re gonna say a French rapper. You go to Germany, do the same thing,\u201d Sheeran explained. \u201cAnd I understand British rappers more. I can relate to Stormzy\u2019s tunes more than I can relate to whoever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the music side of his own, Sheeran is gearing up to release his Play album<\/a> on Sept. 12, which includes singles \u201cAzizam,\u201d \u201cSapphire,\u201d \u201cOld Phone\u201d and \u201cA Little More.\u201d<\/p>\n
