A man in his 30s has died after being hit by a bus in Co Kildare.<\/p>\n
The crash occurred between junction 8 and junction 7 eastbound on the N7 motorway at Kill.<\/p>\n
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 30s, was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital.<\/p>\n
He passed away this evening.<\/p>\n
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.<\/p>\n
The driver of the bus, a man aged in his 30s, was uninjured, while two passengers received non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
The N7 motorway between junction 8 and junction 7 eastbound is currently closed pending a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.<\/p>\n
The road will remain closed overnight, with diversions in place.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
