A pedestrian has died following a collision involving a bus on the N7 motorway in Co Kildare on Saturday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The incident happened between junction 8 and 7 on the motorway going eastbound at Kill at around 3.30pm.<\/p>\n
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital. He passed away later on Saturday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n
An autopsy is set to take place in due course.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The road is currently closed for garda\u00ed to carry out a technical examination of the scene. The road will remain closed overnight, and diversions are in place.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Separately, in Co Carlow, a pedestrian has died following a collision involving a car on Saturday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The incident happened at around 4.30pm on the R703 in Ballyroughan Big, Borris.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner has since been notified, and an autopsy will take place in due course.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The driver of the car, a woman in her 60s, was uninjured.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The road remains closed overnight for garda\u00ed to carry out a technical examination. Traffic diversions are currently in place.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.<\/p>\n
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
