Kildare, armed with a suspected firearm.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle and motorist were intercepted in the Tallaght area of Dublin 24 shortly after 10:30 am.<\/p>\n<p>The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a man in his 20s, was arrested and an imitation firearm was recovered.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently being held in a Garda station in Co Kildare.<\/p>\n<p>Minor damage was caused to two Garda vehicles in the course of the incident. No one required immediate medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>Garda\u00ed say investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man has been arrested after leading garda\u00ed on a high-speed chase on the M4 on Saturday.
