That choice, too, felt a little like a compromise made between a parent and child (or stylist and celebrity): You can wear your light-up sneakers if you let me finish combing your hair. (As per usual, Pattinson\u2019s \u2019do was perfectly messy and windswept.)<\/p>\n

Pattinson\u2019s style is, in a word, eclectic. Sometimes, he\u2019ll partake in the whole method dressing thing<\/a>\u2014only instead of doing it to promote an upcoming movie, he\u2019ll wear something vaguely thematic<\/a> two years after the project\u2019s been out. He\u2019ll wear a glittery skirt<\/a> for a Dior event, but prefers cargo<\/a> shorts<\/a> on his own time. Usually, he dresses like your sister’s boyfriend<\/a>, or a young geometry teacher<\/a> you might\u2019ve crushed on in high school, and there\u2019s always a slight brattiness about it.<\/p>\n

As he left the premiere Saturday night, he had his wife Suki Waterhouse\u2019s palm in one hand, and a white silk scarf\u2014originally worn buttoned to the model\u2019s pants on the runway<\/a>\u2014carelessly crumpled in the other.
