Superman<\/a> <\/strong>director James Gunn<\/a> has shared a clip from Adventures in Making Superman, a 60-minute documentary showcasing the intimate behind-the-scenes story of Gunn\u2019s first DC Universe<\/a> movie. The documentary is part of the movie\u2019s digital release, which is now available to rent or own on digital platforms.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Superman is drawn into conflicts both abroad and at home, his actions to protect humankind are questioned, and his vulnerability allows tech billionaire and master deceiver Lex Luthor to leverage the opportunity to get Superman out of the way for good,|\u201d reads the movie\u2019s official synopsis. \u201cWill the Daily Planet\u2019s intrepid reporter Lois Lane, together with the aid of Metropolis\u2019s other metahumans and Superman\u2019s own four-legged companion, Krypto, be able to help Superman before Luthor can completely destroy him?\u201d<\/p>\n

James Gunn & David Corenswet recall debating over key Superman scene<\/p>\n

The video features an emotional moment from the set of Superman, featuring Gunn and lead star David Corenswet<\/a> earnestly debating about what the titular hero should feel during his key confrontation scene with Lex Luthor. Both Gunn and Corenswet agreed it was one of their favorite moments during production because it shows how passionate they are about the character.<\/p>\n

Superman was written and directed by Gunn, based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
