‘Clunetech Investments 1 Ltd’ are seeking planning permission<\/a> for the construction of an eight-storey office building on a site at the IDA Business & Technology Park, Ring Road, Loughboy, Kilkenny<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The planned building will feature rooftop amenity terraces at upper levels and plant at roof level.<\/p>\n

The application also seeks permission for the construction of a single-storey facilities management store, a single-storey secure bicycle shelter, a single-storey ESB substation and switchroom, a single-storey refuse store and two single-storey external meeting pods.<\/p>\n

Also sought are vehicular entrances from the existing IDA park road network, carparking and set-down, bicycle parking, a new pedestrian and cyclist entrance from Loughboy Park<\/a>, internal pedestrian pathways, landscaping and amenity spaces, site lighting, boundary treatments, surface water drainage and disposal, watermain and wastewater connections to existing services, and all associated site works.<\/p>\n

According to a cover letter submitted with the application, the building will serve as ‘a new headquarters building for CluneTech’.<\/p>\n

The cover letter also stated that “the project represents a significant investment by CluneTech in Kilkenny<\/a> and has been designed to reflect the company\u2019s values of innovation, sustainability, and forward-thinking design.”<\/p>\n

CluneTech was founded in 1996, when CEO Terry Clune founded Taxback Group<\/a> to help university students reclaim their overpaid tax.<\/p>\n
