{"id":163799,"date":"2025-11-05T07:09:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T07:09:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/163799\/"},"modified":"2025-11-05T07:09:13","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T07:09:13","slug":"large-outdoor-artworks-at-hong-kong-palace-museum-expected-to-draw-500000-visitors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/163799\/","title":{"rendered":"Large outdoor artworks at Hong Kong Palace Museum expected to draw 500,000 visitors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Hong Kong Palace Museum has unveiled its first outdoor public art exhibition featuring six large art installations expected to attract at least 500,000 visitors during their year-long display.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Museum director Louis Ng Chi-wa said the exhibition was a continuation of its previous attempts to have Hong Kong artists engage in a dialogue with tradition through contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The exhibition, themed on traditional Chinese garden aesthetics, features sculptures and multimedia works by six local artists including Rocco Yim Sen-kee, the architect behind the Hong Kong Palace Museum building.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The artworks will be displayed across the museum\u2019s plaza from Saturday until November 2 next year.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cThis is the first exhibition in our outdoor public square.
