Cher, 79, shrugged off criticism over her 40-year age gap with her boyfriend, Alexander \u201cAE\u201d Edwards<\/a>, 39, in her \u201cCBS Mornings\u201d interview<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n \u201cWhatever,\u201d she told interviewer Gayle King, responding to her potential critics. \u201cThey\u2019re not living my life. He\u2019s one of the most talented persons I\u2019ve ever met.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cBelieve\u201d hitmaker\u2019s comments come weeks after an eyewitness told Page Six that she and her much-younger beau were spotted looking \u201cvery much in love\u201d<\/a> during their appearance at Alan Faena\u2019s new hotel in West Chelsea.<\/p>\n The couple attended a private opening of \u201cAmaze, Vogue, Ascend, Flourish,\u201d an installation commissioned by Faena Art in New York on Oct. 10.<\/p>\n Cher and Edwards arrived at the event holding hands and only broke apart for Cher to serve the guests some of her \u201cCherlato\u201d ice cream with Gianpaolo \u201cGiapo\u201d Grazioli. <\/p>\n Cher went on to gush over her much-younger boyfriend saying, \u201cI think he\u2019s beautiful. He\u2019s really talented.\u201d<\/p>\n The singer\u2019s comments come just weeks after the couple was said to be \u201cvery much in love\u201d when they were spotted in New York on Oct. 10.
