At a recent fan event celebrating his 60th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan delighted his fans by offering a glimpse into his much-anticipated film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The actor, who has long been celebrated as Bollywood\u2019s \u201cKing of Romance,\u201d revealed that even though the film will feature him in an action-packed avatar, the element of love won\u2019t be missing.<\/p>\n

When a fan curiously asked if they would get to see the trademark SRK brand of romance in King, the superstar responded with his characteristic wit and charm. \u201cMere saath film mein Deepika Padukone bhi hai. Pyaar toh zaroor hoga (Deepika Padukone is there in the film. So there will be romance)!\u201d he quipped, hinting that his chemistry with Deepika will once again light up the big screen.<\/p>\n

However, Khan refrained from giving away too many details about the film\u2019s plot. \u201cI don\u2019t want to give out too much of the story of King. Once more and more assets come up, you\u2019ll know more about the film. There are several characters in the film,\u201d he shared, adding that the story explores deeper themes of choices and morality. \u201cThe idea behind the film is that we end up taking big decisions when we end up taking things personally. We should think whether what we are doing is right or not. Also, we are not going to take any sides in King. If you like our thought, then do follow it. Ya fir burai hi karte rehna!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Siddharth Anand directorial features a powerhouse ensemble including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Arshad Warsi. The film is also set to mark the much-awaited theatrical debut of Suhana Khan, who will share the screen with her father for the first time. Additionally, young talents like Abhay Verma and Raghav Juyal play pivotal roles.<\/p>\n

Shah Rukh and Deepika\u2019s on-screen partnership has been one of Bollywood\u2019s most cherished. From Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express to Pathaan and his National Award-winning Jawan, their collaborations have always struck gold at the box office. With King, the duo is all set to reunite once again \u2014 this time blending high-octane action with the timeless romance that fans can never get enough of.<\/p>\n
