{"id":16634,"date":"2025-08-22T17:58:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T17:58:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/16634\/"},"modified":"2025-08-22T17:58:07","modified_gmt":"2025-08-22T17:58:07","slug":"no-luas-red-line-between-connolly-and-the-point-for-several-weeks-following-fire-the-irish-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/16634\/","title":{"rendered":"No Luas Red Line between Connolly and The Point for \u2018several weeks\u2019 following fire \u2013 The Irish Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/luas\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/luas\">Luas<\/a> Red Line services will not operate between Connolly and The Point for several weeks at a minimum, following a major fire in Dublin\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dublin-docklands\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dublin-docklands\/\">Docklands area.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Locals witnessed flames shooting up from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/ireland\/dublin\/2025\/08\/20\/part-of-luas-red-line-closed-for-at-least-a-week-due-to-damage-from-fire-near-ifsc\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/ireland\/dublin\/2025\/08\/20\/part-of-luas-red-line-closed-for-at-least-a-week-due-to-damage-from-fire-near-ifsc\/\"> underneath the George\u2019s Dock Bridge <\/a>near the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) at about 6.10pm on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Four <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dublin-fire-brigade\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dublin-fire-brigade\/\" target=\"_blank\">fire engines<\/a>, a foam tender and a water tanker attended the fire at George\u2019s Dock.
