Semiconductor testing equipment maker\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/6857.T-JP\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Advantest<\/a>\u00a0fell over 6%, chipmaker Renesas Electronics fell nearly 4%,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/2760.T-JP\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tokyo Electron<\/a>, a chip production equipment maker, fell 1.46%.<\/p>\n<p>South Korean memory chip giant SK Hynix lost 0.51%.<\/p>\n<p>The declines also come after\u00a0AI-related stocks in the U.S. fell overnight<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/QCOM\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Qualcomm<\/a> dropped almost 4%, despite strong quarterly results, after warning it could lose future Apple business. AMD, a strong performer Wednesday, slipped 7%, while Palantir and Oracle were down about 7% and 3%, respectively. Nvidia and Meta Platforms, another of the &#8220;Magnificent Seven,&#8221; also finished lower.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is breaking news.
