Dutch progressive metalcore veterans Textures<\/strong> have announced their long-awaited return with a new album titled Genotype, due out January 23rd via Kscope<\/strong>. The release marks the band’s first since reuniting in 2023, and their first new full-length since 2016’s Phenotype.<\/p>\n

Following the June debut of lead single “Closer To The Unknown,” Textures have unveiled the album’s second offering, “At The Edge Of Winter,” featuring guest vocals from Charlotte Wessels<\/strong> (ex-Delain). The accompanying video was directed by the band’s bassist Remko Tielemans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Genotype was self-produced and mixed by Forrester Savell<\/strong> (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus), serving as the conceptual and sonic counterpart to Phenotype.<\/p>\n
