AP<\/p>\n<p>The eligibility period for the 68th annual Grammy Awards is Aug. 31, 2024, through Aug. 30, 2025. <\/p>\n<p>With Swift releasing her twelfth studio album on Oct. 3, her new music debuted well after the eligibility window closed.<\/p>\n<p>She also didn\u2019t drop any new singles, music videos or other records during the timeframe that would allow her to qualify. (Her previous album, \u201cThe Tortured Poets Department,\u201d came out in April 2024.)<\/p>\n<p>Swifties were abuzz after nominations dropped for the music industry\u2019s big night, which will take place on Feb. 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Swift\u2019s latest album was released outside of the eligibility window. She received the honor for 2010\u2019s \u201cFearless,\u201d 2016\u2019s \u201c1989,\u201d 2021\u2019s \u201cFolklore\u201d and, as previously mentioned, 2024\u2019s \u201cMidnights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swift \u2014 who won her first four golden gramophones\u00a0in 2010 \u2014 holds the record for most nominations in the song of the year category, with eight nominations, and is the reigning female artist with the highest amount of nominations in the album of the year category, with seven nominations as of 2025. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear if Swift will be in attendance at this year\u2019s awards without any nominations, though it\u2019s very possible she could show up as a presenter or performer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"You need to calm down.
