In an interview with British Vogue published on Tuesday<\/a>, Brown continued to share her thoughts on the scrutiny celebrities face.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Oh my God, what has she done with her face? Why has she gone blonde? She looks 60 years old!,\u2019\u201d Brown said of the critiques she\u2019s received from the media. <\/p>\n

\u201cI respect journalism,\u201d the \u201cStranger Things\u201d actor revealed. \u201cI love reading articles on my favorite people and hearing what they\u2019re up to. I understand that there\u2019s paparazzi, even though it\u2019s invasive, even though it feels like shit to me \u2014 I know that\u2019s your job. … But don\u2019t, in your headline, slam me at the get-go. It is so wrong and it is bullying, especially to young girls who are new to this industry and are already questioning everything about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the press tour for her film \u201cThe Electric State,\u201d the actor told the outlet, her excitement was overshadowed by media coverage. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was depressed for three, four days. I was crying every day,\u201d she revealed. <\/p>\n

She went on to share her frustrations \u2014 and offered a solution to criticism. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s, like, get off my fucking case, you know? I am 21. I am going to have fun and play and be myself,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

In March, Brown accused journalists<\/a> of \u201ctearing down\u201d women \u201cfor clicks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI started in this industry when I was 10 years old,\u201d she stated in an Instagram post. \u201cI grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can\u2019t seem to grow up with me. Instead, they act like I\u2019m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on \u2018Stranger Things\u2019 Season 1, and because I don\u2019t, I\u2019m now a target.\u201d<\/p>\n
