The Grammy-less list of aspirting EGOTs includes: <strong>Ellen Burstyn<\/strong>, <strong>Jeremy Irons<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldderby.com\/t\/jessica-lange\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jessica-lange\" data-tag=\"jessica-lange\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jessica Lange<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>Frances McDormand<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldderby.com\/t\/liza-minnelli\/\" id=\"auto-tag_liza-minnelli\" data-tag=\"liza-minnelli\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liza Minnelli<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>Helen Mirren<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldderby.com\/t\/al-pacino\/\" id=\"auto-tag_al-pacino\" data-tag=\"al-pacino\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Al Pacino<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>Vanessa Redgrave<\/strong>, <strong>Geoffrey Rush<\/strong>, and costume designer <strong>Paul Tazewell<\/strong>. Minnelli received a Grammy Living Legend award, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldderby.com\/tv\/2025\/do-sports-emmys-count-toward-an-egot-a-brief-investigation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">honorary trophies do not count towards an EGOT<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another 16 TOE winners are deceased and will never get that final Grammy. They are actors <strong>Jack Albertson<\/strong>, <strong>Anne Bancroft<\/strong>, <strong>Ingrid Bergman<\/strong>, <strong>Shirley Booth<\/strong>, <strong>Melvyn Douglas<\/strong>, <strong>Glenda Jackson<\/strong>, <strong>Thomas Mitchell<\/strong>, <strong>Christopher Plummer<\/strong>, <strong>Jason Robards<\/strong>, <strong>Paul Scofield<\/strong>, <strong>Maggie Smith<\/strong>, <strong>Maureen Stapleton<\/strong>, <strong>Jessica Tandy<\/strong>, composer <strong>Ralph Burns<\/strong>, director-choreographer <strong>Bob Fosse<\/strong>, and art director-costume designer<strong> Tony Walton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Only 21 people have won the awards grand slam known as the EGOT.
