The\u00a0Grammy<\/a> nominations are out, and they include a host of first-time nominees \u2013 check out a full list below.<\/p>\n

Yesterday (November 7), the Recording Academy revealed the full list of nominees for the 2026 Grammys<\/a>, which are set to be presented at Los Angeles\u2019 Crypto.com Arena on February 1.<\/p>\n

Kendrick Lamar<\/a>\u00a0was the big winner with the announcement, picking up nine nominations thanks to his 2024 album \u2018GNX<\/a>\u2019, while\u00a0Lady Gaga<\/a>,\u00a0Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>,\u00a0Bad Bunny<\/a>,\u00a0Justin Bieber<\/a>,\u00a0Billie Eilish<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Tyler, The\u00a0Creator<\/a>\u00a0were well represented.<\/p>\n

Records had to be released between August 31, 2024 and August 30, 2025 to be eligible, and this year\u2019s nominees feature many first-timers \u2013 some of whom were particularly unexpected.<\/p>\n

Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a> has earned his first nomination this year thanks to his role in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown<\/a>. The accompanying album, on which Chalamet sings, is up for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.<\/p>\n

The Dalai Lama is also up for an award this year, with his narration of his book Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama\u00a0nominated for Best Audio Book, Narration and Storytelling Recording. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is also a first-time nominee for the same category.<\/p>\n

In the music world, Addison Rae<\/a>, Olivia Dean<\/a>, KATSEYE<\/a>, sombr<\/a>, Lola Young<\/a> and Alex Warren<\/a> are all first-timers in the Best New Artist category.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Sleep Token<\/a> gained their first nods with nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Metal Performance. Yungblud<\/a> also has his first nomination in the former category.<\/p>\n

PinkPantheress<\/a>, FLO<\/a>, Tate McRae<\/a> and Zara Larsson<\/a> are also among those up for awards for the first time. Find a full list of first-time nominees below.<\/p>\n

Since the nominees have been announced, fans have noticed several big hitters in the music industry who were eligible were still left without any recognition<\/a>, including\u00a0Lorde<\/a>,\u00a0The Weeknd<\/a>,\u00a0Gracie Abrams<\/a> and Benson Boone<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All records to have been released since the end of August this year will be eligible for the 2027 Grammys, including the likes of\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s \u2018The Life\u00a0Of\u00a0A\u00a0Showgirl<\/a>\u2019\u00a0and\u00a0Doja Cat<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Vie<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n
