DC Studios is putting out a public casting call for its upcoming Batman-adjacent feature Dynamic Duo<\/a>,\u00a0and anyone can try out.<\/p>\n

Next Saturday, November 15, animation studio Swaybox<\/a> will look at online auditions to work as a performer for the puppet-animated flick. The video below shows the work will entail controlling characters or items by yourself or with a team and in front of a blue or green screen. Though Swaybox has mainly put the call out to fans of \u201cfilm, comics, animation, and puppetry,\u201d it stressed there\u2019s \u201cno experience necessary.\u201d All you\u2019ll need to audition is \u201ca ruler and a way to film yourself,\u201d and the tryout will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CT.<\/p>\n

Dynamic Duo centers on\u00a0Batman\u2019s first two Robins<\/a>, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, who are early into their superhero careers as the film opens. Notably, the film is produced by Matt Reeves, though it\u2019s said to be completely disconnected from his live-action\u00a0The Batman\u00a0universe<\/a>. It\u2019s also been described as a mix between \u201cCG, practical stop-motion, and live-action real-time performances,\u201d similar to Laika\u2019s Coraline. (That studio\u2019s next feature,\u00a0Wildwood,\u00a0also seems to employ similar filmmaking techniques.)<\/p>\n

If you think you\u2019ve got what it takes to be part of the Swaybox crew, you can audition on Saturday, November 15<\/a>. For everyone else, Dynamic Duo\u00a0hits theaters June 30, 2028.<\/p>\n
