A close-knit community in Co Wicklow<\/a> has been plunged into mourning following the unexpected death of a young mum “whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her”.<\/p>\n

Clodagh Rooney, 37, from Bray<\/a>, passed away on Thursday, November 6, leaving her family and friends heartbroken.<\/p>\n

A death notice shared on RIP.ie states: “Our beloved Clodagh, the rock of our family, passed away unexpectedly, aged 37 years, to the inexpressible grief of her adoring husband Martin, treasured children Dawson and Pippa, her devoted and much loved Mum and Dad Geraldine and Willie and siblings Sean and Aoife who idolised her together with her niece Alex.”<\/p>\n

The notice adds that Clodagh “will be sadly missed by her loving family, relatives and her wide circle of friends.”<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old ‘s death has sent shockwaves through the local community, with heartbreaking tributes pouring in for the young Wicklow mum.<\/p>\n

In a message shared online, a close pal said: “Absolutely heartbroken. Sometimes life really does make no sense. What a loss. What a beautiful loveable person inside and out, one of them people who never complained and always had a smile, an absolute diamond, I\u2019ll never forget you Clodagh and the laughs we had. My thoughts and prayers are with Martin, Pippa & Dawson. Forever in my heart. If you\u2019re planning on catching up with someone do it now, tomorrow isn\u2019t promised.”<\/p>\n

A devastated family member said: “One of the most loving & caring people to walk the earth. I\u2019m so glad I got to grow up with you and call you my cousin, rest easy Clo.”<\/p>\n

Another mourner added: “Heartbroken to hear of the loss of beautiful Clodagh, whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her. She was someone who would do anything for anyone, and she will be missed by so many.”<\/p>\n

A former classmate of Clodagh’s said: “I am so sorry to hear of Clodagh’s passing. Remembering Clodagh from school as warm, kind & caring individual.”<\/p>\n

Another added: “So shocked to hear this news, Clodagh was a wonderful beautiful person inside and out, from our days playing in Kennedy Park, to school days, to bumping into each since we left school. She carried herself with such grace and full of life, and was just a kind and gentle soul. My condolences to all of her family, the angels have gained one of a kind.”<\/p>\n

Clodagh will lie in repose at her parents\u2019 home on Saturday and Sunday, with removal from there at 10am on Tuesday morning, walking via her home to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray.<\/p>\n

Her funeral mass will be held at the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace at 10.30am that morning, followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.<\/p>\n
